EDUC 517 - Research Statistics and Methodology This course helps students understand the basics of the research process and statistics in the social and behavioral sciences. Students will interpret and critically analyze research and learn to be discerning on the literature they consume. Common foundational statistical analyses and computations such as principles of central tendency, standard deviation, statistical standardization (i.e. t-texts, ANOVA), reliability, validity among others. Research procedures will be explored including participant selection and ethics.
