MATH 225 - Calculus and Modeling for Biological Sciences

An introduction to mathematical modeling and calculus with applications to biology. Topics include discrete-time dynamical systems, limits, continuity, derivatives, optimization, stability of equilibria, definite and indefinite integrals, and differential equations. Students will employ computational software to solve problems and to analyze models of various biological processes. Prerequisite(s): MATH 121 ;
