An exploration of bioinformatics and mathematical biology. Topics include sequence alignment and analysis of DNA and proteins, modeling the physiology of the heart, statistical analysis of biology data and the use of web-based databases. (Same course offered as CSAC 392.) Prerequisite(s): MATH 121 or higher;
