This course introduces orthographic and phonologic components of the English language and extends students knowledge of concepts, terminology, and teaching techniques related to phonics as a language, reading, and writing tool. Required for all Primary Childhood, Middle Childhood, and Intervention Specialist Education majors. (Offered fall/spring) Prerequisite(s): Education majors only. EDUC 151
