Application of sociological principles to selected major problems of contemporary society. Topics may include poverty, health, global issues, the environment, violence, social justice, and social institutions. This course is designated as a civic/community engaged course. (Offered fall) Prerequisite(s): SOC 115 or SOC 120 .
