CS 381 - Parallel Computing(2)
An introduction to parallel and distributed computing including. Topics include race conditions and different approaches to solve them, processes, threads, and parallel algorithms. Students will write programs implementing parallel algorithms using processes and threads. (Offered spring, odd years.) Prerequisite(s): CS 380 Operating Systems .
