SWK 460 - Social Work Practice - II: Mezzo-Practice

Mezzo-Practice is the second of three social work practice courses that focuses on families and groups with attention to particular elements of smaller system dynamics. The course includes research informed practice, including engagement, assessment, service planning, and evaluation of families and groups with opportunities to integrate learning from Micro-practice and Field Education. Offered Fall, to be taken concurrently with SWK 462 and SWK 463. Course is only open to Social Work majors.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of C earned in SOSCI 210 Social Science Statistics SOSCI 220 Social Science Research Methods SWK 335 Human Behavior in the Social Environment I SWK 336 Human Behavior in the Social Environment II SWK 352 Contemporary Social Welfare Programs SWK 353 Social Welfare Policy Analysis SWK 370 Practice I: Micro-Practice . Students must have Senior standing in the Social Work Program. Corequisite(s): SWK 462  and SWK 463
