EDUC 574 - Advanced Techniques in Individual and Group Counseling

This course advances already learned theories, techniques, and principles. Specific techniques related to particular theoretical orientations will be taught and practices. Skills related to the therapeutic relationship, theoretical techniques, differential diagnosis, goal formulation, treatment planning, termination, referral, record keeping, social justice, advocacy, and spirituality. Students also explore and refine their personal theoretical orientations.
