EDUC 556 - Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports for Students with Mild to Moderate Disabilities

This course prepares teachers to read research about effective positive behavior strategies and supports and apply these interventions regarding behavior with exceptional children with mild to moderate disabilities. A focus will be on children with emotional/behavioral/social disorders. Includes a field-based with children with emotional, behavioral and/ or academic disabilities.
