EDUC 526 - Family, Community and Culture: Relationships This course provides teachers with the knowledge, dispositions, and skills needed to establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with families and community members, especially those of differing cultural backgrounds. Graduate students research the importance and develop skills related to cultural responsibility in relation to family and community for the purpose of enhancing educational opportunities for young children. This course involves a research component in a non-traditional educational setting.
