ENGL 344 - Dante(4)
This course familiarizes students with the poetic works of greatest poet in the Western tradition, Dante. By reading the Vita Nuova and the Divine Comedy, students will gain a deeper understanding of the philosophy, religion and historical context of Medieval Italy.(Offered as needed.) Prerequisite(s): ENGL 150 preferred.
