BUS 322 - Corporate Finance

This course familiarizes students with the core concepts and theory of corporate finance and helps students develop an analytical framework for understanding how organizations make investment and financing decisions. The emphasis will be on applications of corporate finance theory to the real world as well as an understanding of the limitations of the tools in practical settings. Specific topics include asset valuation, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend policy, working capital management and financial planning and forecasting.  (Offered spring even years.) Prerequisite(s): BUS 240 .
