This course involves the study of the historical development and current status of research in nursing. The course includes an in-depth examination of the research process, particularly as it relates to nursing. Students critique published research and implement nursing research utilization strategies. Placement: senior year or BSN-completion student. May be taken second semester of junior year with recommendation of faculty Adviser.
