An exploration of the various processes by which music is learned and performed and the effect they should have on the manner in which music should be taught. Emphasis will be given to the role of the private/studio teacher in the education of music students, and business practices and concerns of the teacher. Prerequisite: none. Offered fall semester in odd years only.
