Requirements for a Chemistry Major, A.C.S. Certified

Required support courses

  • one math course carrying a MATH 231  prerequisite
  • one physics course with a PHYS 221  prerequisite
  •   (or a proficiency exam)
  • Two semesters of a foreign language or two years of language in high school or satisfactory performance on a placement test are required.
  • Quantitative Reasoning and Natural Science General Education Goals are fulfilled.
