Requirements for Accounting Major:
Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing plus a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems. These courses provide the basis for advanced courses in a business major.
Major Requirements
General Education Courses (with exemptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science General Education course requirements); ECON 101; ECON 115; BUS 101; 131, 211, 213, 240, 242, 246, 260, 301, 321, 325, 390, 450; Math 120; Math 215.

Residence:
Accounting majors must take at least 12 hours of BUS courses at the 300 or 400 level, not including the Business Core, at Capital University.
