Music Minor

Music Minor Requirements”

The music minor requires 18 credit hours from four areas of music

AREA I - (minimum of 9 credits)

Combination of:

• MUSIC 131 Musicianship I  and MUSIC 132 Audiation I   or

• MUSIC 131 Musicianship I  and MUSIC 133 Musicianship II 

   Choice of:
• MUSIC 120 Introduction to Music and Listening  or MUSIC 122 Music Literature 
•  Any music course other than MUSIC 210 Introduction to Music  ​

AREA II

• Studio lessons - (minimum of 2 credits)

AREA III

• Ensembles - (minimum of 2 credits)

AREA IV

• MUSIC R101 Recital Attendance  (repeated for a total of 4 times) (zero credit)
