Study of the technical language of medicine and the allied health fields. The Greek and Latin prefixes, roots and suffixes with which to construct medical terms. Includes both written and spoken language, a study of abbreviations and acronyms used in medicine, and a look at patient charts. Offered fall and spring semesters.
