BL 3210 - Princesses, Prostitutes, Prophets: Girls and Women of the Old Testament
An exploration of the fascinating and surprising stories of the Old Testament’s women and girls within their literary and historical contexts. Includes development and practice of pedagogical skills for leading creative, engaging, and meaningful Bible studies. Texts will be interpreted from a wide range of perspectives, including discussion of the ramifications of these interpretations for children, youth, and adults in the Church and beyond.
Prerequisites & Notes
Three of the following courses are prerequisites for MDiv students: BL 1021 Old Testament I, BL 2022 Old Testament II, BL 1041 New Testament I, and BL 2042 New Testament II. For MTS, MAYFM, and MACM students, the prerequisites are BL1021 Old Testament I and BL 1041 New Testament I.
