EDUC 535 - Counseling Strategies for Administrators
EDUC 535, Counseling Strategies for Administrators is one of the eleven courses in the School Administration program. A school administrator spends a great deal of time providing guidance to individuals and groups. With no formal training as a counselor, the administrator is generally left to his/her own devises to determine how to handle situations. This course will provide basic knowledge of counseling strategies for individual and group counseling, as well as facilitation skills utilized in meetings. The class will be presented in a hybrid manner, meeting on campus for five sessions during the semester.
