ECON 418 - Econometrics

Students will study the theory and practice of econometrics. Topics include: model specification, regression analysis with cross-sectional data, dealing with violations of classical regression assumptions, specification issues, dummy variable techniques, time series regression and forecasting and limited dependent variable models. The course is designed to be a hands-on study with a strong emphasis on practical skills. Computers and econometrics software will be used extensively.  (Offered as needed.)
